Installation
How to install the Triplebee Bridge Plugin and connect your WordPress sites.
Requirements
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A WordPress site running version 5.8 or higher
- WordPress admin access (Administrator role)
- PHP 7.4 or higher
- A Triplebee account (sign up free)
Installing the Bridge Plugin
The Bridge Plugin is the only thing you need to install on your WordPress site. There’s no server configuration, no cron jobs, and no database changes required.
Method 1: Install from the Triplebee dashboard (recommended)
- Log into your Triplebee dashboard
- Click Add Site in the sidebar
- Enter your site URL and click Generate Connection Key
- Copy the one-time install link provided
- Paste the link into a new browser tab while logged into WordPress as an admin
- WordPress will automatically download, install, and activate the Bridge Plugin
Method 2: Manual upload
- Download the Bridge Plugin zip file from your dashboard
- In WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Upload the zip file and click Install Now
- Click Activate Plugin
- Go to Settings → Triplebee Bridge and enter your Connection Key
Verifying the connection
After installation, return to your Triplebee dashboard. Your site should appear with a Connected status within 30 seconds. If it doesn’t:
- Make sure the plugin is activated (not just installed)
- Check that your site’s URL in Triplebee matches exactly (including https://)
- Verify your server allows outbound HTTPS connections
Security notes
The Bridge Plugin communicates exclusively over HTTPS. Your WordPress credentials are never stored by Triplebee. All commands are authenticated using rotating API keys, and every action is logged in the audit trail.
