Automations
Schedule and automate recurring WordPress management tasks.
What are automations?
Automations let you schedule recurring tasks that Triplebee runs automatically, without you needing to be present. You define the task in plain English and set a schedule, and Triplebee handles the rest.
Creating an automation
In your dashboard, click Automations → New Automation. You’ll describe:
- What to do — the task in plain English
- When to run — a schedule (daily, weekly, or a cron expression)
- Which sites — specific sites or all sites
- Conditions — optional rules that must be true before running
Example:
Task: “Update all plugins that have security patches available. Skip major version updates.” Schedule: Every day at 2:00 AM Sites: All sites Condition: Only run if the site was backed up in the last 24 hours
Notification settings
For each automation, choose how you want to be notified:
- Always — get a report every time it runs
- On changes only — only notify when something was actually updated
- On errors only — only notify if something failed
Reports are delivered by email and are also visible in the Automation History log.
Common automation recipes

Monthly content audit:
